Early Christmas.

Once again, we will not be spending much time in Seattle through Dec. I still wanted to do a bit of my own decorating, so we got out a few things and put up a few lights for the kiddos. It is so bright and joyful, I am already in the 'Christmas spirit!'
Our funky mini-tree and cool snowflakes.

Boisterous boy!

We went to Bainbridge Island again on Saturday so Bray could have another voice lesson. Although it was freezing, the kiddos and I had a good time exploring the island. These are just a few of Hobbes, enjoying the outdoors!

Sweet sister.

As most of you know, Hobbes is a bit OCD. For the most part, I think this is a great quality with him, as he pays strict attention to detail, takes time to make things right, and does it all the way-again, usually. Not always if his task is picking up the toys instead of building an elaborate train track. Madeline loves to help Hobbes with his 'projects.' When he builds tracks, she gets so excited and happily brings different pieces, attaches them, and then doesn't mind when Hobbes re-attaches them somewhere else. The other night, while Bray and Hobbes were running an errand at the store, I came into the kids' room to find Madeline had lined up all the blocks and cars in perfect order-just how Hobbes likes it. She was so pleased, and couldn't wait to show him when he got home! What a sweet sister!

Performance pics!

These pictures are from the opening of the Seattle Opera Young Artist's Program fall show, Cosi fan Tutte by Mozart. They have been taking it around Washington, and I will get to go see it on Sunday, in Kirkland! It is all done in Italian, and from the looks of these pictures, should be great! To read more about it, go to their blog at www.seattleopera.blogspot.com.

These photos are courtesy of Bill Mohn.

Thankful.

I missed my 'thankful' post yesterday, so I have 2 today. Yesterday, our nephew, Oz Wilkins, was taken by ambulance to the hospital with a 108 degree fever. He had had a seizure, and was diagnosed with 2 types of 'flu' and a touch of pneumonia. He was doing much better, and is supposed to go home today, so I trust he is recovering. We are so thankful God protected him, and that it was not more serious!
Along those lines, I am also thankful for our niece and nephews-we just wish we could see them more often! Love you guys! (from your crazy Aunt Kajsa and Uncle Bray!)

Thankfulness.

A lot of my friends have been posting everyday in Nov. about something they are thankful for. I love this idea, and although I have been too busy to do it so far, I shall try to for the rest of the month! Today, however is a big thanks. This is from my little sister's blog, and we are all sooo glad!
She writes:
We went up to Spokane today for follow up after the surgery and good news - the margins were completely clear! They still have to run a couple more tests to help determine if chemo is necessary and she'll meet with the oncologist on Monday. We should know then what kind of treatments will happen and when. Thanks for your continued prayers!

JOSH GROBAN!!!!

...or is it?
singing to adoring fans.
with mentor and fellow musician, Diana Ross (or Tina Turner, or...some random woman.)

A grumpy kitty-cat.

We had had a late night, and no nap...so she was more like a real cat than we would've hoped...grumpy and touchy, but still looked cute!

The handsome cowboy. (or boy-cow, as Madeline says)
