Hello again, all! Sorry it has been a little while-things continue to be busy here! As I may have mentioned in a previous post, Bray and I put on a concert on December 5th here in Moscow. The main reason was to raise money for auditions, travel expenses, etc, but it was also a great deal of fun to be able to perform together again! The last time we did a full recital together was right before Hobbes' was born, so it was a treat to play for my talented opera-star husband! My sister-in-law, Naphtali Garfield, is a talented violinist, and was kind enough to play with us on a few songs. Bray also sang the Prince's duet from Into the Woods with JT Grauke, another hilarious and talented singer from Moscow. And, to make the evening complete, my little sister Kathryn, who is my all-time favorite page-turner, was by my side, flipping those pages! (And besides a page being in the wrong spot, which wasn't her fault, it went perfectly!)Altogether, it was a successful evening, and I was so thankful we were able to pull it off!
