The Granada Theatre!

Beach times!

Butterfly Beach in Montecito-need to stay at the hotel across from here someday!

This was a momentous occasion-Bray actually got in the water. He didn't go in the water on our honeymoon, or any other time we've been in Cali. He must love me!:)
Relaxing image.:)
For some reason, I had to take pictures of these little sand birds every time I saw them...

Lovely home in Montecito-so fun!

Sneak peek...

In case you can't tell-I had an AMAZING time in California. The show was incredible, the weather glorious, and it was a mini-vacation without the kiddos(although we missed them!)! So I am driving back to Seattle tomorrow, and will try to post the rest of the pics then, but for now, here is a pic of us on the beach Sunday morning, and one from the after-hours party after the premiere!

Californiiiiaaaa!

I have not taken tons of pics yet-but I am on a mission today!! I have already seen a dress rehearsal of Seance and let me tell you, it is AMAZING! Today we're hitting the beach, so I will definitely document.:)First self-serve yogurt place I've ever seen-not as good as Shnoo, but still fun!
Had to take a pic in the really cool Anthropologie for the gals.
Standing by the Seance poster in front of The Granada!!

I am having a blast and am soo grateful to all the family for watching my kiddos and making this possible! (oh, and I have now met Stephen Schwartz. :) )

The Fair!

Madeline was content to stay with Ampa and watch Hobbes go on rides.:)

For more pics, go to Kathryn's blog- www.mandkchurch.blogspot.com!

Fun at Ama & Ampa's!

I came to Moscow a few days early to see everyone before heading to California (where I am right now!) and we had a great time going to the fair, playing outside and seeing family.

playing in the turtle sandbox-I can remember when they looked tiny in this! Now they look too big for it!
Grandpa got down Seth's old Lincoln Logs-and Hobbes loves to build them (while trying to keep Madeline from knocking them down...reminds you of the old days, eh, Seth?) :)

My Dad has rearranged his office to also be his art studio, and he now has my Great-Grandpa's easel and art desk in there. In case you haven't checked his blog out look in my links on the right side, and you can see all his wonderful prints, cards, etc! He decided to let Hobbes help create some art, and I took a few pics-Hobbes felt soo special!

PJ Play-doh!

Adventures: Marathon walk.

Yesterday evening I took the kiddos on a walk on the path across the street from us. We typically just go to the park, but I thought I'd switch it up a little and let them explore and venture on their own. Hobbes made friends with a little girl, and they literally raced the entire path and back (over a mile!) it was really hot, so he was red-cheeked and sweaty by the end, but he had a glorious time! It was a gorgeous evening and we all just wished Bray were with us!

Big boy friend.

I took this at the church picnic on Sunday-this boy is our pastor's youngest son, Justin. He is always really sweet to Hobbes, and lets him play with the big boys. Hobbes feels so important when he plays with them-and on Sunday, they helped him ride the scooter, and let him 'play' volleyball. It was pretty cute.

Adventures: The Beach.

We went to our favorite beach park (Newcastle) 2 days in a row last weekend! On Saturday I took the kiddos by myself, and Sunday our church picnic was held there. Madeline is our sand castle-river digger-stick gatherer-seaweed decorator woman, and Hobbes loves to run 'fast' around the sand, go deep in the water, and occasionally bring buckets full of water to fill up Madeline's rivers. They love the beach!

Adventures: The Park.

Since Bray is gone, I am taking more pictures than usual(I know, I know-you're all thinking 'Is that possible?') of our daily adventures. Today's was the other evening at the park-Hobbes is getting more and more adventurous (almost too much so!) and he came up with a new swing-jump-land-slide game...he thought it was pretty funny!
