Easter Eggs!

On the Saturday before Easter we went over to the Graukes for an Easter Egg Hunt, and to celebrate Jonathan Grauke's 2nd bday-it was so fun to have all the kiddos there, old enough to find the eggs and play, and without any fighting! Success!

To Moscow!

After our fun-filled Friday evening, we got ready for my parents to come visit/see the show. Kathryn had her baby shower Saturday morning, so they were planning on leaving right after that. It was a gloriously sunny day, but unfortunately, this caused avalanche possibilities through Snoqualmie Pass-and my parents got stuck waiting for them to finish the precautionary measures for 2 hours! They thought they had tickets for the show that night, and were concerned they weren't going to make it, when to their surprise, they looked at the tickets and realized they were actually for Sunday! So, even though the trip took longer, they still got to see the show!
They took the kiddos and me out to Red Robin for dinner, and then my cousin Luke and his girlfriend, Suzie, who had driven up from Portland to see the opera, came over for dessert! We have had so many friends and family come to see the show-we are truly thankful!
Bray heads to Yakima today, to do some reprise performances of the fall opera, so I headed back to Moscow with my parents Monday-and have since gotten to spend time with my new nephew, Asa and little niece Amara! Soo fun! We will be here through Easter, and then will head back!

Midsummer again!

Hello, everyone! The whirlwind continues, but we are doing our best to keep up! On Friday, the second weekend of Midsummer began, and I was able to go again with some Moscow friends! Livvy and Luke Grauke (who live here in Seattle) and Isaac and Katie Grauke, who drove up from Moscow all came to the show! Jill Fagan was a sweetheart and watched our kiddos for us, so it was a fabulous evening! Bray did tremendously, and I enjoyed watching it again- I caught a lot more the second time around! So once again, Bravo Bray!

Bye Gege & Bop, we miss you!

Wendy & Steve flew out (in a snowstorm, no less) Wednesday morning, and we were all sad to see them go. As they drove off, Hobbes kept saying, "Come back! Come back, Gege & Bop!" it was quite sad...but hopefully we can see them again soon! We had a wonderful time!

We went to see the musical fountain...and Hobbes got soaked! He ran around that thing, avoiding the huge fountains, but splashing in the water-and he had a glorious time!

Just having a good time!

We went out for a wonderful seafood dinner on Monday night, and I decided to branch out and try something new. I ordered the Alaskan rockfish with pineapple mango salsa, cajun spices and plum sauce, with a fresh ginger slaw on the side-AMAZING! Seriously, delicious.
