Hobbes and Mr. Turtle

One day lalst week, my dad called and asked if Hobbes would like to help him put a classroom turtle back into the wild, (aka Hordeman's pond near our house). I thought Hobbes would love it, so we all went out in the rain, and trekked over to the pond to set the turtle free. Although Hobbes wouldn't hold the turtle, he was thrilled at watching him 'fall' into the water, and then he even found some geese and ducks to play with! I thought that it would be a fun idea to have my dad paint one of the pictures of Hobbes and the geese, so I took several, and these are some of my favorites! What a fun afternoon with Ampa and Mr. Turtle!
