Hobbes and discipline
As most of you with young boys know, a lot of time is spent in disciplining your son. Hobbes has his weeks where it is a rare occurence, and then there's the weeks where I feel we never leave the bathroom (the place of discipline). Yesterday morning, Hobbes was doing his usual routine, running all over our apartment with his 'walk-it,' aka a grocery cart, when I heard him go into the bathroom with it. When I came out to see, he had gotten down the rod, and was 'disciplining' his walk-it for crashing into Madeline's baby stroller. He finished, then prayed with it, and came out telling it to 'be happy.' He may not understand that inanimate objects can't sin, but at least he gets the idea, right?
