Hello, again!
So I managed to get all the pics on CD at Target, but am still unable to edit on my computer-thus the following pics will have some red-eye, etc.. Let me apologize in advance for that, but at least you get to see something!
Things have been crazy busy, but so much fun! Bray's parents arrived last Thursday from Louisiana to a gray, rainy Seattle. The kiddos were so excited-we went out to meet them at the car, and as soon as Hobbes saw them he said, "GEGE! BOP! (their names for Wendy & Steve) Come inside my house! Come see the trains, come play!" And then he gave Wendy a huge hug. It is so fun to see them remembering people and times as they get older-it makes it that much more sweet.
Friday was the opera, and my Aunt Jill and Grandma Garfield were coming up from Portland to see it, too. Bray was fighting a bit of a cold, so Jordan and I took Wendy & Steve around Pike St. Market, where we went and ate crumpets, braved the chilly winds, and looked at the beautiful daffodils atop the market roof. After that, we hurried back to our place to get all gussied-up for the opera, and then we headed to Maggiano's (an Italian restaurant in Bellevue) for a fun dinner beforehand. It was an absolutely fabulous evening, and Bray did an amazing job! I could not stop laughing during the 3rd act-funniest opera I've ever seen! After it was all over, we went back to our apartment and had German Chocolate cake with everyone (including Bray!) to celebrate.
To make the posts a bit shorter, I will post by event, but to start with, these are pictures I took the morning Wendy & Steve were arriving-the kiddos were hyped and ready to go!
Hobbes, armed and ready for anything.going from double guns to being pushed by his little sister in her baby stroller....hmmmm....I just don't know what to say!
