25-and going to Chuck E Cheese?

Hello, everyone!
Yes, I turned 25 today-can you believe it? For some reason, I've always thought 25 sounded older than 30. Bray had rehearsals all day, so I stayed home with the kiddos, and we went and had a rainy picnic at the park by the lake, and then I got the apartment ready for Kathryn to come and visit tomorrow! I made myself a delicious angel food cake (my favorite every year!) but this year I decided to frost it-and I must say, it turned out pretty well! (Madeline taste-tested the frosting for me). I thought we would just have a quiet evening at home, but Bray got done earlier than he thought, and asked if I would like to go somewhere. For some reason, who knows why, the first place that popped into my head was Chuck E Cheese's. Now you may think I'm crazy, and you're probably right, but I have never been, always wanted to go, and I wanted a kid-friendly, cheap place, so that fit the bill.
We went out in the pouring rain, and had a blast being kids with our kids! What a great birthday!
(Hobbes even sang "Happy Birthday" to me 3 times today-I'll put a video up of it later)Trying to do 25-but it looked like 52. Hmm...the mind is going already!
Ahh-there's 25.

Giddyap!Look at that shot- and the follow-through! Do we have an athlete on our hands? :)

Well, he may have a good arm, but he cheats-he climbed into the game to dunk it-and steal another ball without an extra token.
Yes...Bray climbed in the toddler slide-thing. But the kids loved it-more people to play with!

But-when I decide to climb in and join the fun, everyone left. Hello, birthday girl?

Hard to get out of kid-mode once you're in it...all I asked for was a nice photo of the 2 of us. It took several shots to get it.:)There we go-me and the hubby.
My yummy fall Angel Food cake!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone!
